Villa Alea truly is an amazing holiday retreat that features traditional Javanese wooden Joglo and two-bedroom pavilions, wrapping around the wonderful tropical garden where an inviting crystal clear infinity pool sparkles. The greatest feature about this gorgeous villa is the Joglo and the magnificent view over the rice paddies that blend in seamlessly with the lush green exotic garden. You can enjoy this enchanting view from almost anywhere in this private sanctuary, and the location is also perfect, nestled in a real peaceful rural area that is actually surprisingly close to the center of fashionable Seminyak where you can shop till you drop, wine and dine and go clubbing at Bali’s renowned beach clubs.
Beneath the high soaring Joglo roof, from where a majestic chandelier draws your attention, the interior design of this lofty living room is elegant and rustic with a polished grey marble floor, hand-crafted teak furniture, and intriguing traditional artwork. There are beautifully ornamented, traditional Balinese daybeds for daytime relaxing and large plush sofas for curling up with a book alternatively. A wide selection of books is provided in the wooden cabinets.
For lovely communal dinners, there is a large teak table with ten smart chairs for evenings of good food and conversation in the magical ambiance created by the light of the chandelier. Lovers of the sun will be spending lots of time lazing by the pool on the comfy sun-beds, working on their tan. In contrast, those who seek an escape from the tropical heat, after swimming some laps in the pool, can beat the heat in the alang-alang roofed gazebo, taking a day-time snooze or enjoying a traditional Balinese massage to the sounds of the wind blowing through the rice paddies.
Villa Alea houses 5 air-conditioned bedroom suites. The spacious master suite is found in a secluded stand-alone bungalow, soaked in natural light by the full-length glass windows and doors that open up to the view of the rice fields and the pool. The deluxe king-size bed, draped by white curtains, promises a perfect night’s sleep after watching a movie in a more intimate setting on the flat-screen TV.
The en-suite is also luxurious, fitted with a large black river-rock bathtub and a rain shower. The 4 guest bedrooms are tucked together in a double-story pavilion, oppositional to the master suite. Each of these rooms features a deluxe king-size or twin beds along with a TV and DVD player for entertainment, spacious wardrobe closets, and a private en-suite with a rain shower and all bathroom amenities needed.
