Villa Des Indes Seminyak is located in the exclusive Laksmana Estate. It is just minutes away from Petitenget Beach. And also some of Bali’s most iconic restaurants, bars, stores and spas. This luxurious five bedroom villa offers open Balinese style living in a beautifully quiet environment. It is close to the many attractions of Seminyak. With multiple indoor and outdoor living and dining spaces, relaxing koi ponds dotted with heliconia islands and two private pools. Villa Des Indes Seminyak is perfect for vacationers who appreciate their own private space to relax amidst lush tropical vegetation.
In the vaulted pavilions, lined with teak wood and oriented around the pools. You’ll also find a wealth of colonial-style furniture, precious antiques, ceramics and Chinese and Indonesian artifacts. The heritage influence is balanced by more contemporary luxuries, including high-end King Koil mattresses, crisp cotton sheets. But also 47-inch curved televisions with satellite channels in every room. To add to this sense of luxury, the staff strives to make guests feel privileged. Among them is an accomplished chef who can prepare meals throughout the day on a reasonably priced menu.
Those who can tear themselves away from the delights of the villa will find classic Bali restaurants and beach bars such as La Lucciola, Ku De Ta and Potato Head just steps away.
For larger groups (up to 18 adults and four additional children), the villa can be rented in conjunction with the four-bedroom Villa Des Indes Bali to create a nine-bedroom estate with three pools – perfect for extended families or groups of friends.
The five rooms at Villa Des Indes Seminyak are spacious. They are beautifully designed, with vaulted wooden teak ceilings, custom-made glass cabinets. In addition, the polished wood floors are adorned with oriental carpets. Four of them have a king-size, four-poster bed wrapped in a mosquito net. Twin beds (which convert to king-size if you wish) rest under a massive mosquito net in the fifth room. Colonial-style furnishings, artwork and notable artifacts provide a rich visual counterpoint to the state-of-the-art 47-inch curved TVs with satellite channels and DVD players. The upstairs room has its own rooftop terrace, two ground-floor rooms open onto the main pool deck. Two other rooms face each other across the second pool. All five are equipped with fans and air conditioning, as well as a beautifully decorated air-conditioned marble bathroom with a dressing area, a bathtub, two sinks and a walk-in shower stall.
The huge living area is open and ventilated. Its huge wooden roof is supported by massive wooden columns. It is the principal room of the Villa. Open to the pool and surrounded by three koi pools that are dotted with islands of heliconia flowers. This is the Balinese lifestyle at its best. Old-fashioned style rattan sofas and armchairs are arranged around low tables in two separate seating areas. Ten guests can gather around the dining table in cozy comfort. On the other side of the koi pond is a bar with antique-style seating, and behind the serving bar is a well-equipped kitchen with a coffee maker and wine fridge. On the other side of the main pool, facing a sun deck bordered by lounge chairs, is a large cushioned ball. A second fan-cooled living space, richly decorated with antique Indonesian furniture. The space faces the villa’s smaller pool.
