Villa Jendela di Bali is not a typical vacation rental with a lounge, dining room, and bedrooms under one roof, but rather a series of unique handcrafted traditional buildings (“veil” in Balinese). It is a unique villa design composed of several bales. Think of our villa as a ‘village’, a special villa in Bali, a village near Ubud surrounded by private land.

Villa Jendela di Bali is a unique ‘village’ with all intricately handcrafted living quarters to reflect traditional Balinese and Indonesian archipelago architectural styles. Each bale is set within the property’s lush tropical parkland gardens, with beautiful wet edge pools, fountains, flowers, and vibrant bird life. Bedroom – The White Elephant

The White Elephant Bedroom Vale is a one-of-a-kind dream space tucked away in the gardens of a private villa, overlooking fountains and ponds. On a moonlit night, there’s nothing more impressive than lying in an elegantly appointed king-size bed and looking through a stunning glass wall to the moon and towering palms behind the jungle. Fireflies dance before your eyes and the sounds of a gamelan orchestra enchant you during temple ceremonies. When you think of white villas in Ubud, The White Elephant is one of his few villas with a truly special and romantic style, a true gem of our estate ‘village’ in beautiful bales.

Inspired by the traditional Balinese lumbung (rice barn), White Elephant is a great guest in his ballet. Elegant and romantic lines appear at first glance. The three-story White Elephant has a living room, a covered terrace with a daybed, and a large enclosed bathroom that opens onto the terrace. Upstairs is a romantic bedroom with a magnificent vaulted alang alang ceiling and a king-size bed with crisp white linens topped with traditional Balinese carved ‘Bidadari’ chevrons there is. His small upstairs loft on the third floor offers an intimate space for reading and meditation, overlooking gardens, ponds, fountains, and the sacred village beyond.

Bedroom – The Kingfisher

The gracefully sweeping roofline of the Kingfisher Vale is inspired by the Toraja design. The bale is located behind a pool and palm grove with serene views overlooking a gorge towards distant rice fields. This elegant handcrafted veil is made primarily of coconut wood and is visually appealing. It is environmentally sustainable.

Villa Jendera di Bali offers exclusive access to all facilities including the magnificent wet edge pool and gardens. Whether you dine poolside, lounge on gorgeous daybeds with plush pillows, or relax on armchairs made from recycled Balinese fishing boats, Villa Jendera di Bali offers poolside space and space. There is space. Hammocks are set up between the rings of palm trees, where you can lie down, read a book, or relax.

A wet/infinite rim black volcanic rock pool dramatically reflects the towering coconut trees surrounding it. An oasis of coolness by day and a dramatic backdrop to the pool at night with the moon and stars overhead.

Wayang Kulit Bale – Massage and Media

For those seeking modern forms of entertainment, there is a flat-screen TV with surround sound and DVD/CD, with Indovision cable TV discreetly within an antique Java cabinet. The grand day bed with its impressive batik canopy is the perfect place to read a book from the villa’s small but thoughtfully-selected library. Ceiling fans. • ‘Wayang Kulit’ Media, Meditation and Massage Bale – TV with international channels, movies, news, cartoons, sports, radio channels, DVD/CD, surround sound system, ceiling fans. In-house massage is also available; we use a professional massage table for your comfort.
• ‘The White Elephant Bale’ – Lounge, deck with day bed, bathroom with shower-over-bath opening to deck, separate king/twin singles bedroom, small loft, ceiling fans (sleeps one, one couple or two singles)
• ‘The Kingfisher Bale’ – Queen bed, deck with shower-over-bath, daybed and chairs, ensuite, ceiling fans (sleeps one or one couple)
• Private swimming pool and poolside bale – Two sun beds and pool towels, one day bed and two chairs, dining setting for six.
