Villa Ka is the jewel of Bali Ethnic Villa, at the foot of a valley of rice fields in the heart of  Umalas, a quiet residential area only 10 minutes drive from the trendy Seminyak and 35 minutes from the airport. Also, with its majestic park of 3200 m², where statues mix Timor ferns and lush vegetation, it is quietude. It’s “the Tropical,” is the largest of our properties among the complex with 5 Joglos double bedrooms in old teak, with a minimum of 30 m², and its private semi-opened bathroom: feeling of freedom, fun, take a bath, a shower in the middle of a garden of Eden. The “Joglos” are traditional wooden houses endemic to the island of Java.

You will certainly relax in our oriental lounge where a charivari multicolored cushions invite you to relax facing the “Garden of the Gods,” and our Joglo tea time bar will be waiting for you for a game of chess or offering you the possibility to enjoy, our library corner or television space. Enjoy our Joglo dining dice breakfast, which is served by the market’s colorful and fragrant tropical fruit. If you no longer wish to know the adventure outside, on request, a chef can treat you and orchestrate a menu in our kitchen Joglo. Discretion and the smile of the staff, dedication are all ingredients to the success of your stay.

Bedrooms at Villa Ka

Upon entering the foyer, gazing past the living room, you can see the Joglos or Javanese wooden houses made of teak, lined to the left of the enticing swimming pool. These Joglos are open-plan living spaces. Each Joglo has a king-sized bed enclosed in white curtains. This allows guests to relax and feel connected to nature. Located right outside each Joglo are private rock bathtubs and rain showers. Each Joglo then opens up to an inviting view of the pool and lawn. There is one Joglo, on the right side of the swimming pool, containing two bedrooms, which is excellent for families and friends who would like to share.

Living Areas at Villa Ka

Indoor Living

Villa Ka is designed with open-plan living spaces, beautiful wooden floors, and high ceilings, all in traditional Javanese style. Villa Ka has a spacious living room, partially surrounded by a water lily pond overlooking the deck and swimming pool. The living room features exquisite Javanese craftsmanship, from wooden furnishings to artistic wood carvings. In the evening, the room is bathed in the glow of beautiful hanging teardrop light fixtures. Overlooking the pool and to the right of the living room is the dining area. Here you can savor a delicious meal while lounging on rattan chairs, all while enjoying the cool night breeze. After dinner, guests can either chat and drink at the bar or sit back, relax, and watch a movie in the TV room.

Outdoor Living

You can have a dip in the large swimming pool made with natural stone or read a good book lounging by the poolside on comfortable recliners or sit in a teardrop-shaped rattan lounger. However you decide to spend the day, you’ll always be greeted by a view of the 3185 square meter park populated with coconut trees, “Timor” statues, and tree ferns that are sure to relax you.
