The Melaya Villas is a compound of 3 units of identical three-bedroom holiday villa laid on 1 hectare beachfront land in Melaya – North West Bali. The beachfront villas are magnificently equipped with a large garden, a five by 15 meters pool with a jacuzzi of 2 by 2 meters, and a tropical garden of 2000m2.
The Melaya Villas has three bedrooms surrounding the living area. All three bedrooms have a pool, garden, and sea view with different angles. Each bedroom is equipped with a king-size bed, a built-in teak wood closet, a study table, air-conditioning, and a fan. The two bedrooms on the side have a semi-open bathroom, while the bedroom in the middle has an en suite bathroom. The middle bedroom is also wheelchair accessible through the patio from the living area. The villa’s living area is an ancient antique joglo that has access to the terrace and balcony.
The terrace gives you a perfect view of the pool, garden, and sea. Whilst the patio has wheelchair access to the middle bedroom. The 75 to 100 years old joglo was brought from Java to be used for a living area overlooking the pool, garden, and sea. We set a kitchen, dining area, living room, entertainment set, and a toilet in the living area. A fully equipped kitchen is installed in each villa, including two fridges and a bar counter.
A living room with a TV and DVD is next to the kitchen and the third bedroom. On the other side of the living area are the dining area and a wooden cupboard wall attached to the master bedroom. A toilet for the living room is located by the villa entrance from the front garden and villa gate.
The pool, garden, and sea view is visible from almost all areas of the villa. If you stand up at the beach, you can see Banyuwangi in Java and Bali’s mountains on the other side. In fantastic weather, you might be able to see Mount Ijen in Java is visible. In the afternoon, usually, the locals go to the sea to fish. Some people use a fishing rod, some use a fishing net, some go on a small boat, and some use a giant tire as a raft. On calm sea days, you can swim to the villa’s right and find a small coral reef. However, if you want to experience more of the beautiful underwater world, the port to Menjangan island is only around a 20-minute drive from the villa.
